Experience the raw beauty and challenging terrain of Britain's first national park as we combine two of our favourite disciplines. This action-packed weekend promises vertical adventures on world-famous gritstone and exhilarating trail runs through stunning valleys.
All the climbing is supervised by an expert, local instructor so all you need to do is turn up!
Why Join This Trip?

Who's It For?
This trip is perfect for all levels of fitness/ability and is particularly good for beginners. No prior climbing experience is necessary. Our instructors will tailor the experience to ensure everyone feels challenged yet comfortable.
You don’t have to worry about placing protection, setting up anchors or anything else technical - just your climbing! But if you do want to learn a bit about it, ask your instructor and they’d be more than happy to teach you some extra stuff in the margins.
Travel:
Where to Meet: YHA Ravenstor
How to get there: As the majority of members will be heading up from London, we’d recommend car sharing where possible. Join our WhatsApp group to discuss with other members attending.
Alternatively, we’d suggest getting a train to either Buxton or possibly Sheffield and getting a bus or taxi to the hostel.
NOTE: It’s difficult to get to crags etc. without a car so we would suggest some people bringing one (at least one person generally does!).

Forget the gym, this is what we train and prepare for - having fun outdoors, learning new skills, pushing limits and forging friendships. Jove Club trips are about experiencing the outdoors come rain or shine - without taking yourself too seriously. No matter what, you’ll cement new friendships.
