Before you book
Book with confidence.
Everything that usually comes up before someone books, deposits, cancelling, who's leading the trip, in one place.
Deposits, balance, and instalments
Most trips are booked with a deposit to secure your place, with the remaining balance due 60 days before departure. We'll email you a payment link when it's due, no need to remember the date yourself. On most trips you can also split the balance into monthly instalments instead, no fees or interest, just tick the box at checkout. Your deposit is non-refundable from the moment you pay it.
Cancelling or changing your booking
If you cancel more than 60 days before departure, your balance won't be charged (or will be refunded if you've already paid it). Inside 60 days, no refund is due on any amount paid. If your plans change, get in touch, we can usually transfer your booking to someone else, or defer it to a later date, with our agreement.
Your instructors
Every trip is led by qualified instructors, all outdoor first aid trained. Groups are typically 6-10 people, small enough that you'll actually get to know everyone and your instructor gets to know you.
Coming on your own?
Almost everyone who books a Jove trip comes solo. It's the normal way people join us, not the exception, and it's one of the main reasons people keep coming back.
Insurance
We strongly recommend all participants take out travel and adventure activity insurance before booking, covering cancellation, medical expenses and emergency evacuation, and mountain rescue where relevant. Full detail is in our Jove Adventure Terms.
Payment
All major debit and credit cards are accepted, taken securely at checkout via Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
