Experience the raw beauty and challenging terrain of Britain's first national park as we combine two of our favourite disciplines. This action-packed weekend promises vertical adventures on world-famous gritstone and exhilarating trail runs through stunning valleys.

This is your chance to transition from the bouldering wall to real rock, all under the supervision of local and highly qualified instructors. Whether you're new to climbing or looking to refine your skills, the Peak District's legendary gritstone edges offer routes for all levels.

You'll also have the option to explore the area's stunning trails with guided runs, making this a comprehensive outdoor adventure.

Trip Itinerary (Overview)

Friday 18 July

  • Arrive at YHA Ravenstor in the afternoon/evening

  • Settle in and relax

Saturday 19 July

  • Optional morning trail run for those keen

  • After breakfast, head to the crag for a full day of climbing

  • Evening group dinner and social time

Sunday 20 July

  • Another optional morning trail run

  • Breakfast followed by a second day of climbing

  • Wrap up and head back home by late afternoon

Who's It For?

This trip is perfect for all levels of fitness/ability and is particularly good for beginners. No prior climbing experience is necessary. Our instructors will tailor the experience to ensure everyone feels challenged yet comfortable.

Where to Meet: YHA Ravenstor

How to Get There: As the majority of members will be heading up from London, we’d recommend car sharing where possible. Join our WhatsApp group to discuss with other members attending. Alternatively, we’d suggest getting a train to either Buxton or possibly Sheffield and getting a bus or taxi to the hostel. Other members may be able to collect you from Buxton.
