  • Adventurers looking to improve fitness and trail techniques

  • People who want to feel confident in remote environments

  • Absolutely! It is however worth noting that when we go away on expeditions, we always recommend people have their own tents so getting some practice organising your kit and putting up a tent in a controlled environment is very useful.

  • It’s very important to get top quality kit you can rely on and use for multiple adventure activities and trips.

In our experience we see too many people turn up with kit not fit for purpose. So we’ve decided to help you get started with the following:

    1. Nalgene 1L water bottle - an excellent reusable bottle we love and have used for years.

    2. Black Diamond headtorch - a poor quality headtorch will let you down when you need it and worse still, can be unsafe! You need something reliable and bright.

    3. Sea to Summit 5L dry bag - waterproofing your kit is essential! Everything you carry should be kept as dry as possible. Sure you can use plastic bags but a. they’re not environmentally friendly and b. they’ll easily rip and let water in. Sea to Summit make the best dry bags in our view - great quality and pack small.

    4. Real Meal bar - we’re big fans of these! They pack a huge punch for long days, taste amazing and pack small.

  • Absolutely not! This weekend is about making adventure accessible to as many people as possible. We’re confident you’ll have a great time the Jove Club way and feel inspired about what you can achieve.

Final Words

We’ve focussed on three main things for this trip - 1. it’s low cost - 2. it’s extremely accessible - 3. it’s designed to give you skills you can use.

You’ll notice most of our weekend trips are between £300-£400 - we’ll barely cover our costs for this one… Why then are we doing it? We mean it when we say we want to make you a more competent adventurer, help connect you to other people with similar interests and ambitions, and show you how to have an amazing weekend the Jove Club way!

We want as many people to come along this trip as possible - if you can bring a friend, we’ll give you both £10 off.
